Facilities
The Swan River Rowing Club is located immediately adjacent to the Canning Bridge in Applecross, just south of the Perth CBD, in an enviable position adjacent to the end of the Canning River Rowing course. Our regular rowing route takes us up through the Mt Henry bridge, around past the Aquinas boat shed and up as far as Centenary Park in Wilson, an engaging and beautiful approximately 14 kilometre round trip.

Boat Shed
SRRC is located in a purpose built three-bay shed with immediate access to launch on sandy Canning Beach. Our large facility contains more than 40 racing shells of all sizes from singles to eights, plus coaches launches and maintenance facilities, and is bursting with activity every morning of the week.

Gym
Our well-equipped gym facility is located on Ogilvie Road and includes multiple Concept 2 ergs, free weights, squat racks and leg presses. The facility is a key component of Seniors rowing, and is available around the clock to all members.

Club Rooms
Upstairs at the Club you’ll find meeting rooms and kitchens, and a delightful licensed bar/function space overlooking the river with space for 85 seated or 150 cocktail plus balcony. With neutral décor, timber rafters, and lift access, our venue may be hired for weddings, parties and events, and discounts are available for SRRC members.

Parking and Public Transport
30 car parking bays (paid) are available adjacent to the Clubhouse, with many more bays available in the nearby roads and car parks. The Mitchell Freeway and Canning Highway immediately adjacent to the club provide convenient road access, and the Canning Bridge Rail and Bus Station is located only 600m from the Clubhouse.

Local Amenities
SRRC is fortunate to have both Rowing WA and WAIS situated right next door. Upstairs in the same building is the popular riverfront cafe and restaurant the Rowing Pavilion (the “Pav”), which serves up excellent coffee and tasty post-row breakfasts and snacks and with views across the Canning Bridge course.
